Asus has launched its latest Lamborghini VX6 notebook last week. There is now more clarity about this laptop as we get more details about it. The word has been spread that the VX6 will be available in the market in August this year and will be priced at approximately $699. It come as a bit too expensive but when you take into consideration the Lamborghini brand name along with some unique features the price is more than justified. Some of the premium features include a USB 3.0 and a HDMI port.
It features a 12.i inch and 1366 x 768 pix HD display, along with a 1.83 GHz Intel dual core Atom D525 processor. It has two USB 3.0 ports and USB 2.0 port as well. The base features a RAM access panel and it also boasts of a battery that could run for almost 7.5 hours, which could alone be a big draw for notebook users.
I must confess that I was taken by surprise to know that Asus has used Eee PC brand on the VX6 laptop. Considering Eee brand refers to budget models, there is no way you can link the Eee brand with the Lamborghini VX6. I assume Asus is redefining the Eee brand as one that has Intel Atom processor.
All things said and done, the latest VX6 is a work of pure genius and is definitely going to be an out and out winner. The brand combines very well with the features to offer a complete package.
