The latest 27 inch iMac from Apple is truly a great piece of work and it wouldn’t be surprising if you really liked it and want to have it. But if you have spent all your money on a MacBook and are left with nothing to purchase the iMac you don’t need to worry. You can simply buy an Apple LED Cinema Display (27 inch) and connect it to your MacBook and you can enjoy exactly the same experience. This display is compatible with all the recently launched Apple computers and it also charges your Macbooks through the in-built MagSafe feature.
The display has a very impressive resolution of 2560 x 1440, which is the same as any high end iMac. Moreover, it provides aspect ratio of 16:9 for all videos. An outstanding feature of the display includes the in-plane switching option, which gives 178 degrees of viewing angle. According to Cupertino Computers this display offers almost 60 percent more pixels as compared to Apple’s 24-inch display which is currently on sale. This gives a great picture quality, which is sharp and exceedingly clear.
This display has an in-built iSight camera, three USB ports and a MiniDisplay port. It also comes with a complete audio system, which includes speakers and subwoofer, producing a sound of 49W. Although, there is no clarity on the exact price of this display, sources at Apple have confirmed that this display will cost around $999. All in all, it looks like a good bargain but we will have to wait until it is launched.
