Ever since the 1960’s, there have been continuous efforts to blend technology with art to create high-end speakers that are not only of high quality but also have a great design. There have been a few designs that came near to fulfilling this but they have been far and between. Most of them have been technologically very advanced but with very little to offer in terms of style and design.
Joey Roth, a renowned artist and designer has however managed to bridge this gap between technology and art, to create a product that is highly artistic and yet a superbly made audio speaker. We are talking about ceramic speakers, which we know definitely look good, but the question is do they sound good too.
Joey Roth was inspired to create these speakers because of the dearth of space for the traditional floor-standing speakers. Later, he realized that due to lack of space manufacturers started compressing the size of the speakers which led to deterioration of the sound quality. He realized that Injection molded enclosures will not do the job, so he decided to create something that holds the true spirit of music.
He consulted various music enthusiasts before he got down to creating the speaker. In terms of technology this speaker is very simple but the simplicity doesn’t mean quality isn’t good. These may not be the best home theater speakers ever, but they sound better than many of the leading brands out there.
